In some shape or form, ornaments can symbolize the most important and memorable moments of the holiday season. That’s why each year, those who donate $10 or more to the PACU Foundation during our Annual Holiday Giving Campaign receive a commemorative ornament to hang on their tree and reflect on how giving back to the community brightens the holiday season.

During this season of gratitude, we traditionally gather with our families and loved ones to express our thankfulness for each other. Still, behind the scenes, a great deal of time, money, and teamwork is invested in any Thanksgiving dinner.

As we near the close of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union’s 75th anniversary, there’s no better way to honor this milestone than by highlighting the voices of our longest-tenured employees. These individuals embody the commitment, resilience and sense of belonging that PACU has fostered for decades.

The holiday season is filled with cheer and fond memories of cozy fireplaces and twinkling lights each year. But just as you take the first sip of a long-awaited peppermint mocha, the overwhelming thought of holiday shopping creeps in.

Before you know it, you have dozens of packages on the way, along with the dreaded credit card bill you must confront at the end of the month.

In the spirit of camaraderie and giving thanks, Piedmont Advantage Credit Union hosted its annual Friendsgiving Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 7. The celebration included good food, fellowship with colleagues and a presentation on the history and influential figures in Native American History. Thanksgiving is a great time to show gratitude, but it’s also a time to reflect on our history and how our country became what it is today.

When Debi Conway is not feeling the wind in her hair on the back of a motorcycle, she's serving her community as a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor, helping members achieve their financial dreams and overcome hardships. Debi has worked in financial institutions for over 40 years, so she knows a thing or two about counseling members seeking financial guidance.

Knowing you can make someone’s world a little brighter makes the holiday season even more magical. This year, the PACU Foundation’s Fourth Annual Holiday Giving Campaign invites you to be a part of that magic.

Let’s Be the Difference this holiday season and give the gift of hope to those in need in our community.

As spooky season approaches, zombies may be on your mind. Have you ever considered that there may be a zombie in your own home? No, not last year's costume in the back of your closet or the classic horror movie on your streaming app. We're talking about your computer becoming a "zombie," infected with malware and controlled by hackers who want your personal information.

Starting as a teller at PACU, Margie Finney worked her way up to Eden Branch Manager, and now she’s proudly serving as a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor. For Margie, the most rewarding part of her role is helping people find solutions to their financial struggles.
