Conway and Semones earn certification

PACU's Assistant Vice President of Branch Services Debi Conway (right) and Community Development Executive Jobana Semones recently became Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors through the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) Financial Counseling Certification Program.

This certification gives Debi and Jobana the skills and knowledge required to further assist members to make sound financial decisions.

Jobana added, “There is a lot of reasons why I wanted this certification, but I think the primary reason is I want to be a resource for the average person or family that doesn’t know where to start financially. I want to provide a safe space where people feel comfortable talking about money and answer questions that they may not have been able to ask out of fear of judgement or rejection.”
