Voices of Experience 2: Celebrating Commitment at PACU

In celebration of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union’s 75th anniversary, we are highlighting the voices of our longest-serving employees. These individuals represent the dedication and drive that PACU has fostered for decades.

Their longevity demonstrates their commitment to the values of trust and belonging we cherish at PACU.

In this second episode of Voices of Experience, we hear from three distinguished employees: Perry Crutchfield, Dorie Rickard and Kisha Dockery. They represent over 50 years of collective service to PACU and our members.

Although Perry, Dorie and Kisha come from different departments and backgrounds, they share countless stories and advice that can benefit everyone.

Meet the Panelists

Perry Crutchfield, Vice President of Lending

Perry has been with PACU for nearly 13 years, but his expertise in financial institutions extends further. Before joining PACU, he spent over 30 years at another credit union. What does Perry enjoy most about working at PACU? It’s simple: the people.

"My most cherished memories are of the people I met, worked with and served during my time here," Perry said. "They are exceptional. Our employees are committed to serving our members, and building relationships with them is an invaluable experience."

Dorie Rickard, Senior Sales and Service Representative

Dorie has 26 years of experience working at credit unions. She previously worked at a credit union in Charlotte that merged with PACU in 2014, eventually forming the Boyer Street branch we know today. Dorie's favorite part of working at a credit union is the friendships and connections she makes.

"Our members and employees are truly exceptional," Dorie said. "Recently, a man I had helped years ago with budgeting to adopt a child came back to tell me that his daughter, whom he adopted, is now going to college. I felt honored to have played a small part in his life that way."

Kisha Dockery, Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager

Kisha began her career at PACU 24 years ago as a temporary front receptionist. Throughout her time here, she has held various positions and is currently the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager. Kisha shared that her favorite part of working at PACU has been witnessing the growth of individuals and building long-lasting relationships with members over the years.

Kisha describes her experience with PACU as "Simply Service®." She explains, "Simply Service® means addressing needs directly so that members don't have to go through unnecessary obstacles." According to Kisha, while other places may require members to jump through hoops, Simply Service® at PACU is about assisting not only our members but also supporting each other as teammates.
